WHAT IS Henna Brow?

Henna Brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness.

How long does henna brow tinting last?

Depending on your skin type and lifestyle, henna tinting usually lasts between two to three weeks.

“If someone is oily or uses very ‘active’ ingredients in their skin care, the colour will fade away faster,”

BROW HENNA PRE-CARE

Exfoliate the skin under and around your brows for a couple of days prior to and immediately before your appointment. It is important for this area to be clean and free of makeup, pressed powders and moisturizers. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. The henna will not stain properly or sometimes not at all if these steps are not followed.

BROW HENNA AFTER-CARE

●    Do not rub the area treated
●    Avoid heat treatments for 24 hours
●    Do not apply brow make-up for at least 24 hours after your treatment
●    Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours, as this can cause the tint to fade
●    Avoid swimming/saunas for at least 24 hours after your treatment
●    Avoid perfumed products for at least 24 hours after your treatment
●    Exposure to the sun/UV lights for long periods can cause the tint to fade quicker
●    Oil-based makeup remover can cause the henna to fade faster.
●    Avoid cleansing products directly on the brow area.
●    Henna tint can dissolve faster on oily skin types.
●    Keep in mind that the henna will continue to develop following your treatment and may get a bit darker.
●    It is recommended to schedule brow henna treatments in advance, typically 1.5-2.5 weeks apart as necessary.
